What is Screen?

Large float sorting device according to particle size distributes vibration evenly and performs homogeneous sorting work.
It is also possible to select products of various sizes at the same time gradually according to need.

Flow chart

The product is pulverized to a small size through a crusher and sorted according to the particle size through the screen. The product which has not reached the target size is crushed again by the crusher and screened by the crusher.

​Application of Screen

The screen is widely used throughout the industry for product screening.
The most commonly used fields are raw materials or ores used for size selection after grinding.
The basic specifications of the screen should be customized after consultation according to the physical conditions, according to the field conditions.

Advantage

Rotary Screen

  • It is widely used for solid waste disposal and various minerals beneficiation from raw materials.

  • It is mechanically robust so that optimized for the selection of coarse particle materials.

  • Compared to a vibrating screen, the price is low and the noise is small, so it is suitable for use in the internal environment of the factory.

  • It is easy to maintain and can be used for a long time.

  • Only a portion of the screen in the drum is used for screening, so the screening quantity is lower than that of the vibrating screen.

Screen Design Considerations

Have you considered a screen type that meets your site requirements?

Depending on the intended use, the heating temperature is changed. For sintering purpose, it is usually applied at 1100 ° C to 1300 ° C depending on the properties, and 700 ° C to 900 ° C is applied for combustion purposes. It also applies 400 ° C at 200 ° C for drying purposes.

Have you considered moving speed?

The slower the moving speed, the higher the sorting efficiency. However, if the selection is over but the movement is not possible, it is rather inefficient,

Have you set production volume?

An important factor in determining production capacity is the size of the screen. Although the size of the drum or body is large, the actual size of the body size can vary because the screen size is different.

Have you chosen an appropriate screen mesh depending on the material properties?

Depending on the material properties, various types of meshes can be considered, including Grizzly, Perforated Sheet, Polyurethane, and Steel meshes. Steel is mainly used for non-corrosive, and polyurethane is suitable for corrosiveness.

Do you want to remove fine powder before first crushing?

The screen is not only used after the grinding step, but can be used in all processes of material processing to separate and size the material. If a screen is used to remove fine powder before entering the primary crusher, the abraded parts of the crusher can be protected from the polished fine powder.
